"Through my art, I hope to initiate a refreshing experience by stimulating contemplation and escapism in a viewer. Each of my works is conceived as a puzzle segment that provides a glimpse of a pictorial consequence. At first glance, depictions of vague environments are inviting and free to inhabit. However, upon closer observation a new perilous state, spurred by tension and ambiguity, becomes apparent. Subsequently, a viewer may find that my work comments on current social and environmental issues while how I see the world around me – interconnected and infinitely shifting between the familiar and unfamiliar."
